One of the buildings of our castle-style hotel was built by the Almásy family in 1905. The other wing was opened 30 years later, in 1934. This was home to the Elizabeth Alms-house, which, according to oral tradition, was named after Queen Elizabeth, who was a guest of the Almásy family. The name of our hotel is a reminder of this.
